Jazz 9

Jazz 9 is the introductory course to jazz performance, theory, and history at Highwood. Grade 9 students will spend the year performing in a variety of jazz styles while learning how to improvise and gaining an understanding of the importance of jazz music in North America.

Grade 9 students will meet once a week on Monday mornings (7:00AM-8:25AM) in Semester 1, before switching to classes in the timetable (B Block TBD) in Semester 2.
