Grade 9 Concert Band

The Grade 9 Concert Band rehearses every A block on Mondays, Wednesdays and Alternating Fridays. Students joining the Highwood Band Program for their first year have an opportunity to push their musical boundaries past what they played in junior high, and prepare themselves for the Senior Symphonic Band, which begins in Grade 10.

Grade 9 students looking for an extra challenge are invited to audition for the Senior Symphonic Band as an enrichment experience. Students should speak with Mr. Wiest or Mr. Stearn regarding spot availability and audition materials should they wish.
