Foothills School Division owns and maintains a fleet of Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion Instruments, as well as Double Basses. These instruments are available to rent by families at a cost of $150 per school year, or $15 per month. Instruments may also be rented over the summer at Mr. Wiest's or Mr. Stearn's discretion.

A student does not need to rent a school owned instrument if they have their own instrument at home, but may be eligible to upgrade to a better model school owned instrument at no cost.

Students doubling on more than one instrument only pay one fee.

Students are responsible for caring for their instrument and reporting any issues to their teacher so that repairs can be arranged. Students found to be negligent with their instrument may be charged for repair costs that go beyond regular wear and tear.
