Winter Concert Reminder!

Good morning Highwood Band Families,

It is hard to believe we're already in December, and quickly approaching our third concert of the Highwood Band Program season. Thank you once again for all who were able to make it out to our Jazz Night last week, your support is greatly appreciated!

Next week on December 10th, will be our annual Winter Concert in the Highwood Gymnasium. This will feature all grade 9-12 students, as well as our Grade 7/8 students in our Regional Band Program. Entry will be by donation to the food bank (non-perishable foods only please).

As we have a concert on a Tuesday, Symphonic Band students have been notified that our dress rehearsal will be on Monday, December 9th after school. This means we will not be running the usual Symphonic on Wednesday that week.

Students need to be in the Highwood Band Room no later than 6:30pm ready to warm up, in their concert attire.

We will also be advertising our Band Program 50/50 raffle that evening, which is being offered online via Rafflebox. The Jackpot is currently at over $600 with 10 days left to go!
